Götschele

A new residential complex consisting of 16 apartments was built in the Brixen district of Milland on the site of a former building, the »Götschelehof«. The fundamental desire to integrate the structures into the surrounding architecture and landscape influenced the layout and shape of the buildings. The complex is divided into two parts, respectively facing west and south. The appearance of the neighbourhood roofs and buildings is continued by means of the reinterpretation of a gable roof: its loop-like shape roof merges into the masonry at the sides in the shape of a funnel into which honeycomb forms are integrated.
