FORESTIS	Hotel	2024

The Forestis hotel is located at 1,800 metres above sea level, a place of tranquillity and energy, characterised by its strong connection with nature and proximity to the Dolomites. The unspoilt nature and rich natural resources of this spot were the deciding factors in the establishment of a sanatorium here over a century ago.

Careful consideration of the natural world and the surrounding landscape underlay the construction of three tree-like towers, whose material and colours harmonise with the nearby forests and whose linear architectural language defers to nature: the same respect prompted the connecting pathways and areas such as the restaurant and spa to be built underground. Continuing the idea of the original health resort – the hundred-year-old main building of the Forestis – all rooms face the sun.
