Auto Hofer Industry 2013

With its linear design language and all-black exterior, the Hofer car dealership attracts plenty of attention amidst the grey of Klausen’s industrial zone. By reducing its design to the essentials, the project primarily aimed to create an aesthetic and functional link between the company’s two core competencies, as a vehicle sales and service operation, to be separated from one another by the idea of a “mantle”.

The main focus of the project was the showcasing of new cars: this was achieved by the large-area glazing facing the street – the car dealership is right on a road junction – thus suggesting transparency in the context of modern mobility.
